Jobs / Departments
There are a variety of different departments including:
- Vendor set up and coordination. Vendors will be assigned specific stall locations and storage locations.
- Ticketing, including car-parking. Ticketing volunteers play an important role in greeting arriving patrons and handing out Fesitival maps and information, and quickly answering any general question.
- Security assistance, to work alongside a small team of professional security personnel.
- General Helpers, assisting facilitators and workshop leaders in the running of their activities at the festival.
- Catering for both Volunteers and the Festival. Keen cooks and kitchen hands will have plenty of opportunity to display their skills with the wholefoods emphasis at the Festival.
- Information Area set up and manning, requiring an ability to work well as a team.
- Gophers – this is a 19-acre site and has plenty of opportunity for runners and helpers.
- Cleaners: important and essential, but very rewarding to see a job well done
Great team-work opportunity. - Recycling: setting up trash and recycling bays and bins; collecting and consolidating bags of trash and recycling bins, including wheelie bin management.
- Litter control. Please be aware that this is physical work, including stooping, bending and lifting, and that you will be working hard – rain or shine!
- Technical and/or production. If you have the required background you can request to assist with on-site team.
NOTE: Applications are used in scheduling and assigning departments. Please be sure to select the correct availability and departments of interest.
