Swami Suddhananda is a teacher of the Vedanta-Philosophy in the traditional sense. Swamiji unfolds the knowledge of the Self as described in the teachings of the Upanishads in a clear and convincing manner, infused with logic, humor and understanding of contemporary lifestyle, and a warmth towards his listeners. Swamiji’s teachings leave a strong impact on the minds of the listeners who discover a new dimension of life hitherto ignored by them. Swamiji often deals with meditation in his lectures to dispel the myths surrounding this simple spiritual truth. Since 1984, Swamiji has been conducting classes from his ashram at Uthandi and Tiruvannamalai and giving lectures around the globe visiting the UK, US, the West Indies, Canada, South-east Asia and Europe.
Swamiji’s teaching is based on the thousands of years old Vedantic tradition of self-enquiry which is relevant to man even today. This vision reveals the truth of man, creation and God.
Swamiji conducts regular classes and residential camps in the ashrams in Uthandi/TN, Tiruvanamalai/TN and Orissa. He is invited by universities in India and abroad and travells to New Zeeland, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, West-Indies, USA, Canada, South Africa. UK, Belgium, France and Germany to conduct courses and workshops and to share his wisdom.
He is author of of more than 30 books and was talking at the „United Nations Peace Conference“ in 2000 at New York. Centers in UK, South Africa and Germany support his untiring teachings.
